2017 Kay’s Kamp Applications   
July 22-29, 2017 (kampers arrive on the 23rd)
The deadline to apply as new or returning staff has passed. Expert Online Training All staff are expected to complete online training by June 16.  You will receive login information once your application has been approved.  If you do not complete this training, you will not be invited to join us for the 2017 kamp week. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the completion of your online training, you must email our Kamp Director- Gretchen Loose directly. Please email her as soon as possible at gloose@kayskamp.org.
Kampers  Any child, ages 5-17, who is undergoing cancer treatment or is in remission may attend with physicians approval.  Seventeen-year-olds have the option to attend as a Kamper or to apply to be a Leader in Training. (LIT) LITs Once your application has been submitted and accepted you will receive and email confirmation from our application coordinator. In addition, our LIT Director will contact you via email or phone to assist you with the next steps of your process to join us at kamp.  Applications must be received by May 15, 2017. Returning  medical staff: Once your application has been submitted and you have passed our background check, you will receive an email confirmation from our application coordinator.  The Medical Coordination Director will be in contact with you regarding your availability for the week. New medical staff: Once your application has been submitted and you have passed our background check, you will receive an email confirmation from our application coordinator. In addition, you will receive a phone call and/or email from a member of the medical committee, introducing themselves and sharing important information regarding interview dates, times and location. After your interview, you will receive an email notice indicating whether or not you have been hired Fire Fly Nurses: Please note, in order to maintain continuity of care, all Fire Fly nurses must commit to either day shift or evening shift for the entire Kamp week.
